Brit Writers Awards
Brit Writers Awards gets your work the exposure it deserves! Brit Writers Awards have been working hard on behalf of unpublished and published authors alike. They launched in 2009 and since then have brought many unknown writers from obscurity to relative acclaim.
Their coverage and influence have grown massively over the years. This is not surprising considering that their first ever competition attracted over 21,000 entries from British people living in 92 different countries around the world.

Our inaugural ceremony took place on Thursday 15 July 2010 at The 02, London, where nine previously unpublished writers were honoured with prizes. Catherine Cooper, a former teacher from Shropshire, was our Unpublished Writer of the Year, securing £10,000 and a publishing deal for her children’s novel The Golden Acorn. The winner of the Unpublished Writer of the Year 2011 was Georgina Kirk for her lovely book, Once Upon a Princess… You can watch the awards evening from our homepage.

That's great about the Brit Writers Awards..I am glad it's available to honor unpublished writers.
Yes, Icy. This is something that's been quite lacking for a very long time. Not many publishing bodies cater for unpublished writers.
